OPTICA FOUNDATION
Established in 2002, the Optica Foundation carries out charitable activities in support of the society’s student and early career communities. We cultivate the next generation of leaders and innovators as they navigate advanced degree programs and become active members of research, engineering and business worldwide. The foundation also works to secure the endowments for Optica’s awards and honors programs. The foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

WISTA Management GmbH supports business start-ups, network science with business and promotes national and international cooperation.

As a state-owned company, they are committed to promoting the economy. They build, operate and lease technology centers and allocate land by granting heritable building rights.

The Adlershof Technology Park and the Charlottenburg Innovation Center (CHIC) will soon be joined by the FUBIC innovation campus in southwest Berlin.

They have also taken over the site marketing of the CleanTech Business Park Marzahn industrial estate and are preparing the construction of innovative business parks.

On behalf of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, WISTA also manages the office for Berlin's future locations.

Berlin Quantum is Berlin's strong initiative for research and industry in the fields of QCommunication, QSensing, QComputing and enabling technologies such as photonics, microelectronics and software!

This joint initiative by Berlin's business community, research institutions and universities aims to make Berlin an international hotspot for the research and development of quantum technologies.
